gmk was founded in 1998 by Jon Garrett and Lynne McCarroll, both of whom qualified as solicitors before moving into legal recruitment in the early 1990’s.

Market knowledge gained since 1998 means we can advise you on the difference between firms, the work on offer, size and structure of the team, and the working culture and practices the firm adopts.

We take time to get to know our clients, to understand their needs and requirements, and have built up an extensive range of contacts amongst partners, other lawyers, and human resources personnel, enabling us to source as many positions as possible, to give you as much choice as possible.
