About the Employment department:

The Employment department provides legal advice across contentious and non-contentious employment law matters, working for market-leading companies and high profile individuals.

About the role:

Ranked in the Legal 500 for employment law and covering a wide range of employment advice, the firm is looking to recruit an exceptional 3 – 4 PQE employment law solicitor to work across a number of different areas of employment law, including:

  • Senior Executive disputes;
  • Employment contract negotiations;
  • Employment contract terminations;
  • Redundancy;
  • Discrimination and workplace harassment;
  • Disputes over bonuses and clawbacks;
  • Whistleblowing;
  • Team moves;
  • LLP and Partnership structures;
  • TUPE and corporate support; and
  • General HR advisory matters.

Uniquely, this role offers a mid-level employment law solicitor the opportunity to work on a range of employment law matters without the need to overly specialise at this stage of their career.

The ideal candidate:

Candidates with experience of advising companies and individuals, on contentious and non-contentious employment law matters, will be seen favourably.

  • 3 – 4 PQE employment law experience at a leading City or regional law firm;
  • Past experience of advising companies and individuals on contentious and non-contentious employment law matters;
  • Excellent academics from a leading university;
  • A desire to work closely with clients; and
  • Ability to show a well-rounded understanding of employment law and issues facing the profession, both legal and commercial.
