A national law firm.

They are currently looking for a Solicitor 6-8PQE to join their Asbestos Related Disease (ARD) team in the London office.

The firm is passionate about client care underpinned by its promise to exceed client expectations, and this has helped the firm to grow to become one of the UK's most successful and respected law firms.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Asbestos Related Disease team based in London.

The team has over 25 years of experience representing victims of asbestos related diseases, operating as part of a highly successful specialist Asbestos national team to provide outstanding client care and achieve landmark case judgements.

You'll assist the team with a caseload which will include the investigation and litigation of complex and mid-value cases, whilst assisting other colleagues on high value/ARD injury cases.

You'll be expected to live up to the firm's core values and provide exceptional client service.

A key aspect of this role will be to contribute energetically to business development strategy which might include developing external relationships across the region and raising awareness of their client work through PR and other means.

As part of a rapidly growing team, this role provides the successful candidate with a fantastic platform to develop their career and build their own personal profile within the region in addition to that of the department.

Ideally, you will have some post-qualified experience from any Personal Injury areas of law in a Claimant setting with an aim to specialise in ARD work. However, solicitors currently practising in a Defendant firm will be considered.

You will have a strong appetite for business development, and be able to build successful relationships with support groups, charities and medical professionals.

Existing contacts across London and the surrounding regions would be an advantage.
