Applications are sought from experienced litigators for a number of associate positions across Asia in the following sectors: construction, shipping, energy, commodities, international trade and banking and finance.

Jameson Legal works with the majority of the large international firms that operate in the Asia- Pacific region, especially in the key dispute resolution hubs: Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo. In all of these locations, there is currently a high demand for England & Wales qualified litigators, ideally with both litigation and arbitration experience in their particular sector.

There are a number of general requirements for candidates seeking to make an international move to the region. Notably, candidates need to have a strong academic background (at least a 2.1 at undergraduate level) and must have trained and qualified into a top tier City practice. Although knowledge of local languages is not a requirement, it is considered advantageous. Any previous travel or work experience in the region is also a factor considered by firms as they are seeking medium and long term hires.

The firms will offer competitive salary packages and will provide assistance with relocation. The firms will also provide a comprehensive onboarding program including development of local language skills.

If you are interested in receiving further information regarding specific opportunities in the region, please send an up to date CV along with a brief cover message about your motivations for considering an international move to Lauren Watson (lauren.watson@jamesonlegal.com). If you would like to discuss an international relocation, Lauren can be contacted on 0207 002 7640 for further information.

Please can you send your CV in English and in Word format where possible.
