A striking opportunity has arisen for an exceptionally talented mid/senior level lawyer (barrister or solicitor) to join the eminent Business Crime and Regulatory litigation team of this unique boutique practice at their office in Central London.
The opportunity is available to a mid to senior level lawyer and is based with a prestigious boutique law firm that has established itself by providing superior quality litigation and investigatory representation.
The firm's client base includes corporate clients (at board level), UHNW individuals and senior executives, with a focus on the financial services sector. Cases regularly concern sums that run into the billions and only the most perspicacious, knowledgeable and talented lawyers are invited to join this distinguished practice.
This niche team handles a variety of complex, (often multi-jurisdictional) regulatory investigations, criminal and related civil proceedings. Additionally, the firm's lawyers are encouraged to work in different practice in areas in order to hone their skills as world-class litigators. The firm has an impressive organisational structure that is focused on achieving results and the highest quality outcomes for clients. Lawyers work together in small groups, with no pronounced hierarchical structure, which encourages lateral and creative thinking in order to handle cases in a technical, dynamic and commercial fashion.
The successful candidate will have gained significant corporate crime experience in a highly reputable white collar crime practice and will combine intellectual rigour with exceptional technical, and analytical skills, intellectual curiosity, and a commercially savvy approach.
It is essential that candidates have an exceptional academic record in order to be considered for this position and at least 5 years' post qualification experience.
