In-House FinTech Role
Our client, a market leading banking institution, is looking to recruit a lawyer to join their consumer banking arm, with a particular focus on the digitisation of their retail offering.
The primary focus of this role will be the provision of advice and support in relation to technological advances in the banking world, for example, the development of mobile banking and payments. The successful candidate will work closely with a team of lawyers who are experts in consumer banking so, although experience in retail banking products and regulation may be beneficial, our client is looking to fill a knowledge gap on the technology, FinTech side. It is therefore not a prerequisite that the new hire has prior financial services experience but he/she must have a genuine interest in banking as well as a passion for new technology.
Unfortunately, due to the level of interest, our client is not considering pure commercial contracts lawyers or banking lawyers whose primary experience involves large lending or facilities (unless they also have relevant FinTech experience in addition). That said, we are happy to hear from lawyers from these backgrounds, or any others, who are interested in the FinTech space as we can provide updates on future vacancies where said experience will be considered.
To find out more, on a strictly confidential basis, please express your interest via this page or email Chris Convey at Hydrogen (email@example.com).
