JOB TITLE: Court of Protection Solicitor
PQE REQUIRED: 4+
An exceptional opportunity to join a leading national law firm who are highly reputable for their court of protection work, offering their clients the highest quality legal advice and representation. You will be joining the court of protection team dealing with matters relating to health and welfare. The caseload will be complex and will require an experienced Court of Protection Solicitor to deal with matters relating to the Mental Capacity Act of 2005 and a working knowledge of community care law. In addition to matters relating to the Mental Capacity Act 2005 you will also be dealing with Statutory Wills, Trusts and Deputyships. You will also provide support to other fee-earners and paralegals within the team.
You will be a specialist in court of protection welfare work, with a minimum of 4 years PQE, and able to offer professional and timely advice in this area of law. You will have an excellent understanding of developments in the law in relation to issues relating to the Mental Health Capacity Act 2005 and have some experience of supervising a team of fee earners. As the successful Court of Protection Solicitor you will have a good track record within this area of law and have a real passion for developing and training a team.
