Financial Services Regulatory – US law firm – 2-4pqe (£140,000+)
Having grown the London office significantly over the last couple of years, this small, quality financial services team at one of the most successful US law firms in London, is looking to add mid-level bench strength to its line-up.
Advising funds, corporates and other global FIs on both project and advisory work the successful candidate will have experience of a range of wholesale financial services, ideally with a focus on regulatory and compliance issues affecting private funds. Good knowledge of AIFMD, the UK Bribery Act, and UK FCA rules is expected.
You will be qualified in England & Wales with at least 2 years’ experience (up to March 2013 qualifiers) in a top tier law firm known for its financial services regulatory credentials. Given the nature of the firm’s clients solid good cross border experience is needed, and this should be backed up with excellent training.
The firm is well known as paying exceptionally well (£140,000+), and has an excellent training and development programme. Combined with the progression prospects and excellent partnership opportunities in the firm, it’s a great role for a junior to escape the bounds of the magic/silver circle and retain top tier work.
