Our client is a litigation funders who boast and exceptional reputation and who are regarded as one of the leading names in the market. The company is expanding due to high levels of workflow and the need has arisen for a solicitor with commercial litigation/arbitration experience to work alongside ex-partners of London law firms and finance professionals. The role will involve assisting in generating new work and managing a growing investment portfolio of high value litigation and arbitration cases across a wide range of industry sectors. The role requires you to leverage from your network of contacts in the litigation field, which will likely be litigation solicitors and barristers both nationally and internationally.  The role will involve working closely with one of the directors with responsibility for pitching the services of the litigation fund to existing and new potential clients.  There are already lawyers on board who handle issues affecting case budget, strategy and timings,  case management and reporting system. All commercial cases, including breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, trade secret theft, copyright/trademark/patent infringement, complex business disputes, environmental, qui tam, antitrust as well as domestic and international arbitration are handled. Candidates with an interest or experience in the investment or stock markets would be of special interest. 
Cases in foreign jurisdictions including DIFC and the US Court actions are handled in addition to domestic High Court, Commercial Court and Arbitration Courts. You will probably have at least 9 years pqe along with a highly motivated and entrepreneurial approach. Junior partners seeking to have a more business development focussed role than fee earning will also be welcome. Excellent opportunity to use your litigation skills in a business role were the quality of matters handled is high and there will be excellent opportunity to progress within the organisation as it continues its expansion in a highly lucrative sector.
