EMPLOYMENT SOLICITOR, LONDON, 2-5 PQE*

A leading law firm is looking to recruit a 2-5 PQE* Employment lawyer to join its highly rated practice. 

The Practice

The Practice manages the full spectrum of contentious and non-contentious employment law.  The Practice is experienced in managing complex, high profile and high stake situations, acting at the highest level for both organisations and senior executives.  As a result, the Practice has a unique understanding of tactics deployed by both sides and a balanced understanding of the issues involved.

The members of the Practice are high level strategists and have a deep understanding of both the mediation and judicial system, frequently managing litigation in the Employment Tribunal, High Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court on issues including discrimination, whistleblowing and unlawful competition, including the enforcement of restrictive covenants.

The Practice also work with Senior Executives, CEOs and Non-Executive Directors, across all sectors, from finance and banking to sport, to manage their personal employment needs.  This ranges from negotiating the terms on which they enter or exit employment, to resolving disputes, or representing them in regulatory investigations and proceedings (such a LIBOR).

The Role

The ideal candidate for the role will have/be:

-2-5 PQE* of Employment matters

-Technically excellent

-Trained and practiced at an established Employment practice

-      Both contentious and non-contentious experience

-      Able to demonstrate a pro-active approach to business development
