DCM/Finance Lawyer- 4-7 pqe - Small Firm
Our client is a small firm with a well-regarded and finance and funds practice. The team advises on a range of debt capital markets transactions, as well as broader finance matters and funds structuring.
Whilst it is a small practice, this is not reflected in the complexity of the work the team handles. Its lawyers have practised in some of the world’s largest law firms, and are now undertaking the same calibre of work in a small, close environment, away from the structures of Big Law. As a senior associate, you would have a workload rarely possible in a larger firm, and with high levels of client contact from the outset, you would be seen as a close adviser rather than just a transactional lawyer.
There is a clear gap in the team for a senior associate, and the firm are now seeking an experienced finance lawyer to bridge the gap between the partners and the junior associates. The ideal candidate will be a debt capital markets lawyer with at least 4 years’ PQE, with experience or an interest in wider finance matters.
An excellent opportunity to build up your business case, with a clear path to partnership (if this is what you want), and an interesting alternative to the traditional City finance practices.
