An exciting opportunity has arisen for an associate to join this law firms market-leading Derivatives & Structured Projects group. The team has been at the forefront of every major development in derivatives market since the 1980s. A key strength of the group is the ability to offer local law advice in many jurisdictions including, English, U.S, Japanese, Hong Kong and Singaporean law, amongst others.

The firm itself is a leading global law firm, with 29 overseas offices.

The ideal candidate will be England and Wales qualified with 2-4 years relevant PQE experience of working with derivatives and structures products, in securitised and/or OTC format. It is highly desirable that the candidate has specialist experience in a the full range of derivative asset classes and/or securitised products such as repackagings, CLNs DDOs (both cash and synthetic), synthetic securitisations, insurance products, exchange-traded commodity products (ETCs), investment funds and bespoke financings of financial assets or derivatives using SPVs, as well as stock lending, repo, prime brokerage and collateral management documentation. Candidates who have experience advising on regulatory aspects of the derivatives market would also be of interest.
