Senior Employment Lawyer 6-9 PQE – Excellent Prospects
This small City firm is seeking an experienced employment lawyer to support its thriving corporate practice. Acting for both employers and employees, the firm’s clients come from a range of sectors including hotel and leisure, property, retail, and financial services.
Your work will mainly revolve around non-contentious employment matters, with the majority of work coming from referrals from the corporate, real estate, and private client departments. Typical work will involve providing advice on the employment aspects of corporate transactions (including TUPE), as well as other general employment matters. You will also get involved with employment litigation, although this will not be the focus of your work.
The firm’s employment offering currently lacks a partner, and the firm are therefore seeking someone who is confident and capable enough to be the lead employment lawyer at the firm, helping to grow the practice. Given that the firm doesn’t have a lawyer at partner-level, there is great scope for career progression and partnership prospects.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious senior lawyer to build their business case and gain a high level of responsibility. If you are a senior associate without the room to progress at your current firm, this role can offer you a platform to grow and run your own practice, and work towards becoming a partner.
