LOCATION: West Midlands (Commutable from: Birmingham, Coventry, Warwick, Solihull, Leicestershire, Worcester)

SALARY: Dependant on experience


A leading law firm is in need of an additional Commercial Lawyer to handle a varied caseload of commercial matters on behalf of a diverse client base of higher education institutions. The appointed Commercial Lawyer will be responsible for all aspects of commercial law including commercial contracts and agreements. Working with leaders in their field, this role offers the Commercial Lawyer an opportunity to build a successful career learning from the best and supported by a truly collegiate team. This is very a much a key role for the commercial department and this opportunity provides the successful Commercial Solicitor the chance to develop their skills and experience across a variety of commercial matters.


The newly appointed Commercial Lawyer will have a minimum of 6+ years PQE in commercial law gained within another leading national or City firm. Boosting a broad range of experience in all aspects of commercial law, the successful Commercial Lawyer will be commercially aware and will possess a proactive approach to business development and networking. Ideal Commercial Lawyers will have a proven track record of dealing with all types of commercial matters such as advising on the commercial side of joint ventures and mergers as well as collaboration agreements and general commercial contracts. Applications are encouraged from Commercial Lawyers who have technical expertise in dealing with clients within the education sector although this is not a pre-requisite.
