This is a unique opportunity to join a market leading practice specialising in advising professional practices (partnerships, LLPs and companies), within the corporate department of a truly collegiate City firm. The role will suit a Solicitor with at least 3 years PQ experience of corporate law seeking a change from transaction-heavy work. You will be a highly visible, important and integral part of the team.

You would be advising law firms, other professional practices and financial services firms on legal and regulatory matters which run to the very core and structure of their businesses. You would also be advising individual partners and teams on life changing issues.

The role will suit an individual who enjoys responsibility and the strategic advisory role of the lawyer, as much as someone who takes real pride in delivering clients’ objectives to the highest possible standard. Commercial awareness and excellent drafting skills are essential and will accompany a strong academic background (minimum of a 2:1 from a good university) as well as training/PQE gained with a well-regarded firm. The ideal candidate is likely to have between 3-4 years’ PQE.

Training in the relevant legal and regulatory issues will be provided on the job to the right candidate; prior experience in partnership/LLP law is desirable, but is not a requirement.
