"Approachable and easy to deal with. They are responsive and provide a good-quality end product" Chambers UK 2015
Our exemplary Pensions team is consistently ranked in the top tier by both the Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners. We advise trustees and employers on non-contentious and litigious matters. In addition, the practice handles Pensions spin-off work from major transactions.
We assist trustees and private and public sector clients with defined benefit, defined contribution and hybrid schemes (whether opened, closed or in winding up) with all aspects of:
* Concise documentation
* Specialist pensions legal advice
* Pensions disputes
* Professional trustee services
The team provides advice to both public and private sector clients on all aspects of Pensions law. Our practice is largely free-standing, with only a small proportion of our turnover derived from corporate support work.
The team advises over 700 schemes, including: AT&T, Babcock, Chanel, Crest Nicholson, FirstGroup, Great Lakes, Hampshire County Council, Honda, NAAFI, Ricoh, University of Oxford, Western Power Distribution and Yell.
We look for an excellent academic record and evidence of 'hands-on' pensions experience gained at a professional firm with a first-class reputation for pensions work. You should be a strong team player and be able to manage a complex and varied workload effectively, as the successful candidate will enjoy a variety of work in different areas of the department's practice.
This role may suit flexible working, so we will consider applications from candidates who are looking for a part-time opportunity.
