Fantastic opportunity for a commercially-minded non-contentious lawyer to join a rapidly changing and hugely successful business within the technology, media and telecommunications sector.

Following a recent acquisition, my client is looking to increase their hugely integral legal team, recruiting a company commercial generalist for a varied, challenging and diverse caseload.

You're likely to have had training or are working currently for a highly regarded law firm or blue chip In-house legal team, and have a strong pedigree and set of academics. Solid drafting skills are essential, knowledge of both B2B and B2C contracts would be extremely useful, however it is more your enterprise and commerciality which is sought.

As a result of the recent changes, the products, services and customer base has expanded and become altogether more sophisticated candidates with an enterprising and innovative approach can expect to find an environment in which they can flourish. There are genuine career opportunities to grow and develop both in the law and commercially for those looking for greater exposure to strategy etc.

The exact level of the role has yet to be clearly defined and therefore my client is looking to speak to anyone with such a profile, solid commercial approach and genuine desire to work In-house.

The role is located on the Lancashire Yorkshire border, but there is scope for this person to be part based in Manchester. As a result this person could be based in Cheshire, Liverpool, Lancashire, Greater Manchester or Leeds.
