Applications are sought from talented and ambitious mid to junior to mid-level patent litigators (solicitors or barristers) interested in joining a highly specialised patent practice, within a progressive firm which offers a refreshingly different working environment.

The team is led by one of the doyens of the patent law field and focuses on major pan-European Patent disputes, and has acted in some of the most prominent litigation in the electronics and telephony sectors in recent years. In addition the team advises on some soft IP disputes and a range of commercial hard IP matters, such as licensing, technology transfers and other commercial agreements centred on IP, in the ITC, pharma and biotech sectors.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a key team within a vibrant, progressive and fast-growing firm, which culturally feels less like a law firm and more akin to a media/tech consultancy. The successful candidate will be a junior/mid-level IP solicitor or barrister, with solid IP/patent litigation experience. An academic background in a science discipline would be an advantage but is not a prerequisite for selection.

You will enjoy a high level of responsibility, exceptional quality of work and an attractive work/life balance. A competitive salary and very generous bonus scheme is offered.

Candidates fulfilling these criteria are encouraged to send their CV in complete confidence to or call Alec on 0207 002 7635 for a confidential discussion.

Please can you send your CV in English and in Word format where possible.
