Lloyd's Register EMEA the largest subsidiary in the Group, is looking to recruit an additional member of the legal team, to report to the General Counsel, Europe and to be based out of the corporate HQ in London.
From day one, you'll be providing legal advice and guidance to the subsidiary and affiliate companies of Lloyd's Register EMEA which will include providing responsive, pragmatic, commercially astute legal advice and assistance to members of the management team, and their reports. Drafting, reviewing and negotiation of contracts for the Group's offices and subsidiary companies world-wide. Advising on and implementing risk-management policy.
This is a highly visible, demanding and exciting role, so it's important that you are ready to meet the challenges offered and have the experience, flexibility and technical capability required.
You should have solid private practice training and experience. Proven post qualification commercial law experience, ideally in-house. Oil and Gas industry experience knowledge on contracts such as LOGIC standard terms although not a pre-requisite would be highly advantageous. Good working knowledge of contract, employment, competition, intellectual property and general commercial law. Fluency in another European language would be desirable but not essential. You must also have excellent communication, negotiating and drafting skills.
