This leading national law firm is established as a true leader in the private client sector, and the group has seen significant changes in the last 12 months due to a number of high-profile acquisitions and hires. These recent additions have been very successful, and the practice will therefore continue to form a key part of the firm’s wider strategy moving forward, with the aim of becoming the go-to firm for this type of work.

As London continues to be a hub for investors and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, there is a high demand from these clients for advice on tax planning and how to structure their assets. The team therefore has a particular need for an associate with significant experience providing advice to UK resident non-doms in relation to their multi-jurisdictional interests. The role requires someone who is capable of running their own matters and handling high levels of client contact.

The firm has a strong track record for providing this kind of advice, particularly to clients from Russia, the Middle East and North Africa, often providing complex and innovative solutions. The team’s expertise covers a wide range of tax a wealth structuring advice, including how UK taxes apply to non-doms, the structuring investments and businesses, the establishment and management of trusts, and international tax planning.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ post qualification experience gained at a City firm with a well-regarded private client practice. Experience working with high-net-worth individuals is essential, and CTA and/or STEP qualification would be an advantage.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious associate looking for a platform to build their practice and progress their career. With the team being busy and in a state of expansion, it is an extremely exciting time to join and work alongside partners who are considered stars in the field.
