The central group function of a reputable and trustworthy bank is currently looking for a manager to head up and help further grow a whistleblowing team. Working closely with senior management to provide an effective whistleblowing service to the large workforce, this team provides confidentiality and safety to the banks staff. Within an organisation that values its respectful culture and encourages challenges, you will be expected to go above and beyond within this critical role. This is a position of extreme importance for the bank and credibility and seniority will be required. Your daily duties will include improving processes and controls, reporting to the board, providing guidance on policy and training, and dealing directly with employees.
You will need experience of the banking and financial services industry or potentially the prison service or NHS and your current role should be at least 50% whistleblowing. You should have strong knowledge of relevant legislation and could be a qualified lawyer. Management experience of some kind would be beneficial as is dealing with senior stakeholders on strategic issues.
