Technology Partner - £200,000+ Independent UK firm
Our UK law firm client is as well known for its collegiality as for its robust profits. From our experience, new lateral partners are given a lot of ‘onboarding’ support from the partnership and plenty of time to bed in, develop clients and cross-referrals and prove their value.
The firm is now looking for an additional commercial technology partner. Ideally you will be familiar with advising OMBs and SMEs together with more established corporates on mid-sized deals with a strong IT or Technology element. The team also handle commercial matters for clients in the retail/hospitality arena, FS and media.
You should have experience of advising sophisticated clients on complex deals, often with a cross border element (particularly inwards investment to the UK), and so likely coming from an established firm (whether that be City based or elsewhere). The partners are keen to meet business builders and a network and following will give them confidence that any incoming lateral will fit comfortably in their entrepreneurial firm and, over time, be strong income generators.
There is plenty of progression on offer at the firm and equity either from Day 1 or in the near term.
The firm has had stable growth in turnover and profit in recent years, is well managed and with a compensation framework that encourages team working and sharing not just BD.
