The London partners of this national firm say they enjoy the autonomy of a relatively small City office but with the support, infrastructure and cost benefit of excellent lawyers outside of London.

The firm and London office have grown exponentially over the last 5 years and attract laterals from good City firms who are perhaps looking for a different, entrepreneurial and more collaborative way of working.

Clients are impressive; London based or international and provide both development and investment work. And fee rates are structured competitively, so anyone struggling with hourly rates pushed up by other transactional departments would find a refreshing change here.

The firm is an employer of choice amongst the associate community, also. So you will be sure to get well trained and able junior resource.

You could have either a strong development or investment background; ideally some core clients who have been loyal and a business plan that has potential to grow rather than flat line. But as important will be your approach to working with colleagues across the firm and willingness to absorb into this particular, friendly and positive culture. Anyone with a part client base that comes out of private capital or funds rather than corporate institutions would be of particular interest.
