Our client, a long standing and highly regarded player in the funds sector is seeking a new lawyer.

With approx. 180 staff in London and offices New York and AsiaPac this is a great opportunity to join a thriving business, work closely with front office in the provision of in-house legal fund and trading support.

Impressively their status-quo is $15bn in AUM with approx. 25 investment vehicles. They manage a mix of Cayman Hedge Funds (Master/Feeder, Single Corporates, Segregated Portfolio Companies), Irish QIAIF, Irish ICAV, Irish UCITS, Luxembourg SIF, and closed ended investment trusts. These are co-mingled funds, bespoke mandates, and sub-advised mandates.

Your day to day will include, but not be limited to:

  • Assisting or handling the launch of new funds, platforms and mandates
  • Preparation of all necessary documentation, including offering documentation, operating agreements, third party contracts and subscription agreements relating to trading
  • Provision of regulatory advice relating to Funds and Group (in particular FCA Rules)

You will have trained and qualified in private practice have alternative funds / regulatory experience and a strong academic background.
