With the upturn in the oil and gas sector the market-leading oil and gas team at CMS is now looking to grow strongly in the UK (in both Aberdeen and London, where we are the only firm ranked Band 1 in each of those directories in both locations) at junior and mid associate levels.

About the role

As a member of the UK oil and gas team you will work on a broad range of complex, high value, and high profile M&A transactional and projects work for top tier clients within the oil and gas sector (upstream midstream and downstream) across the UKCS and internationally.

About you

  • England &Wales or Scotland qualified lawyer
  • Relevant legal training and qualifications
  • Strong interest in and experience of transactional work in the oil and gas sector both in the UKCS and internationally
  • NQ-4 years pqe in international law firms or in-house within the UK or other oil and gas legal centres
