The corporate arm of a top tier banking institution is looking for a legal counsel to join a growing business unit within the corporate banking legal team.

Reporting to the head of the team you will gain exposure to the products the business offers to their clients ranging from global corporate and financial institutions including bank accounts, payment products and electronic banking such as SWIFT. Your remit will include supporting the development of existing and new products, working closely with the relationships teams to achieve client specific proposals as well as assisting on regulatory projects such as the implementation of new payment services directives.

You will have a minimum of 5 years PQE and have existing experience in either cash management or financial services regulatory. Ideal candidates will have previous in-house experience from either a clearing bank, investment bank or payment service provider, however private practice candidates will also be considered if they have secondment experience within this field. Personality and ambition are key for this role and you must be a team player. This role offers the right candidate great career progression in a respected financial institution.
