An exciting opportunity has arisen at a very highly regarded West End practice for a mid-level banking lawyer to join on a six months fixed term contract basis.
Their reputation and success is down to close and longstanding client relationships. They are renowned as trusted advisors, acting in their clients' long-term interests with a focus on personal service and quality.
The firm's banking practice advises both borrowers and lenders on a wide range of banking and finance transactions. The team has developed particularly close links to a significant number of leading international and domestic private banks, regularly advising them on high profile loan facilities for their key clients. The team's broad base of borrower clients including corporates, landed estates, trusts and offshore investment vehicles, charities, schools, sporting organisations and livery companies as well as many high-net-worth individuals.
Areas of expertise include real estate finance (both investment and development), acquisition finance, asset finance, general corporate lending, charity finance, sports finance and private placements.
As client demand increases the team continues to grow, and are currently looking for a bright, personable and enthusiastic lawyer to join on a fixed term contract basis.
- Strong academic and professional background including minimum 2.1 degree, training from a mid-sized or City firm and relevant high quality post-qualification experience;
- Sound technical knowledge relating to banking law and practice - commensurate with the applicant's experience
- to date;
- Interest and enthusiasm in respect of transactional banking work;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
