Are you looking to be part of a leading cutting edge funds team but retain flexibility in your working arrangements? We are looking for an experienced funds associate to join our band 1 Funds team.

About the role

This opportunity would suit those looking to get involved in this exciting, challenging and specialist area of law. You will work as part of a team to enhance and further grow the business from its existing well established and solid foundations. You will work as part of a dynamic and innovative team. You will have the opportunity to work for market leading investment managers and investors advising on investments into private equity, infrastructure and real estate funds on a global basis. You will have day to day contact with clients who will expect high quality legal experience and sector knowledge.

We are prepared to consider flexible working arrangements including working on an agile basis and part time. Any part time working would be for a minimum of three days. We would envisage time in the London office on a regular basis but your "home" office could be based in Edinburgh or Bristol.

About you

Minimum 5PQE to meet the demands of the role and have hands on private equity funds and/or infrastructure experience

  • Solid academic background
  • Have trained and have experience in a leading national or international firm
  • A can do and independent approach
  • Confident in negotiating with third parties
  • Strong technical ability and knowledge of applicable law and regulation
  • Good interpersonal skills and an ability to build and maintain client relationships
