FINANCIAL SERVICES IN-HOUSE LAWYER
BROAD ROLE - RUSSIAN LANGUAGE SKILLS PREFERRED
We have been instructed by a large investment firm with HQ in London and offices in New York and Moscow. We are searching for an additional experienced financial services lawyer to be based in their London City office.
The firm has over 21,000 employees group-wide and in London it is one of the leading brokerage and investment companies, helping both UK and global institutional and retail clients gain access to emerging markets opportunities. The corporate culture is one of openness and transparency and the London business is going from strength to strength.
The successful candidate will be English or Russian qualified, with a solid track record in structured products, securities, brokerage activities and client asset protection work. You will advise on master agreements, regulation, financial services (e.g. brokerage, custody arrangements), financial market instruments and related transaction and collateral arrangements. You are likely to be a native or bilingual English speaker and Russian language skills will be highly advantageous.
You may be currently in private practice or you will have developed strong skills in-house. You will be robust, culturally aware and pro-active. In this role you enjoy good autonomy, a strong remuneration package and an excellent quality of life/work-life balance.
