A banking or financial services regulatory lawyer who is looking to move in-house is required by this financial services group, ideally with some experience of retail banking or building societies. This role does not require someone with years of experience but does require someone who understands the UK regulatory scene. As part of the large legal division, but within a small team, you will be supporting the operations and back office in dealing with general legal enquiries relating to products such as credit cards, bank accounts and mortgages. You will be heavily involved in project work and should expect to be the lead lawyer liaising with operations on some of these. You should be a strong communicator both in person and over the phone and email.

This position is based in Milton Keynes where there is an easy transport link to London (30 minutes from Euston), parking, good bars and restaurants and more affordable housing. The organisation has excellent culture with caring and personable management and a reasonable working day.
