This is a new position reflecting our client’s commitment to growth in this area.

The work includes issues relating to lease renewals; dilapidations; breach of covenants; forfeiture; debt recovery; rent reviews; service charges; enfranchisement; adverse possession; easements; and development work. Candidates will have experience in at least two of these areas.

The role will also be responsible for:

• Supporting the Partner and managing own caseload in respect of commercial property litigation matters.

• Drafting and negotiating all necessary documentation.

• Participating in business development by following up on contacts and actively marketing the Department.

• Coaching and mentoring of less-experienced staff.

Additionally the successful candidate will have:

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

• Be able to work under pressure, managing own caseload with minimal supervision.

• A Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE
