Respected South West practice is seeking a Solicitor to join their successful Regulatory and Advocacy Team.

Essential Criteria

* Solicitor

* An individual who is client friendly, proactive and hard working

* Court and Police Station Duty Solicitor Accreditation

* Develop and manage a caseload of criminal files

A good working knowledge of:-

- Criminal Law and procedure

- Evidence

- Experience of working under Legal Services Commission contract

- Police Station procedures

Optional Criteria

Working knowledge and experience of:-

- Use of Higher Rights of Advocacy

- Experience of regulatory work – i.e. Health and Safety, Environmental Law

The successful applicant will join a Regulatory and Advocacy team comprising 10 fee earners.
