Job: COMMERCIAL / COMMERCIAL LITIGATION LAWYER

Our client, the UK division of a top global insurance company, now has an exciting opportunity for an experienced lawyer/solicitor to play a key role in the business' future success.

Reporting to the General Counsel, you will play a key role indriving business forward in the UK and Europe through the provision of legal advice to the business, minimising commercial risk and contractual exposure.

You will assist management in negotiations with clients, joint ventures and other 3rd parties, drafting, reviewing and revising contract documentation, and other legal matters concerning the Company's business. You will review, draft and negotiate shareholder agreements, Joint Venture agreements and

re-insurance agreements. You will provide advice and guidance, reviewing documentation and at all times ensuring that the best interests of the Company arebeing met.

There will also be the opportunity for travel throughout Europe.

Ideally you will have a minumum of 2yrs PQE with proven experience in commercial work including drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of contracts. A knowledge of commercial litigation is also essential as there will be an element of advising on Insurance Claims.

You will be capable of producing high quality work in a flexible, fast paced environment and have the ability to work for clients locatedin all the European offices.

With proven ability to influence senior decision makers, you will have excellent interpersonaland communication skills, combined with a flair for negotiation and relationship building gained from a large commercialfirm or with a blue-chip in-house background.
