Job: COMMODITIES LAWYER (FINANCIAL SERVICES) 5+ PQE

Due to continued expansion, this highly regarded European Investment Bank has a unique opportunity to recruit a Commodities Lawyer with extensive experience in the commodities/energy market.

Reporting directly to the Head of Corporate & Structured Finance in the Legal Department, the successful candidate will provide legal support and advice to business lines within the commodities business, set standards for core transaction activity, and develop new product ideas and respond swiftly to business requests.

The ideal candidate will have significant commodities trading and derivatives experience. As part of the role, you will prepare and review documentation for ISDA and LME-based commodity derivatives transactions and you must have extensive working knowledge of English law concepts and structures. It will also be beneficial if you have previous experience of working in different areas of investment banking activity and operations.
